Mother Blessing

Have you heard of a Mother Blessing before? A ceremony that stems from a Blessing Way in Navajo tradition, honouring a womans transition into motherhood. Different to a baby shower, as a Mother Blessing focuses on the Mother. Creating a safe and supportive space for her, gathering in the powerful feminine energy, while also taking the opportunity to plan the continuation of support in postpartum.
 

I would be honoured to facilitate your Mother Blessing as we honour your transition into motherhood.
Every journey is different. So, when I am facilitating a mother's blessing, I love to be able to make each blessing a little different. Depending on the mother, the size of the blessing, location and the village gathering around the mother, each blessing ends up being unique. An outline of what can be included is...

 - Earth Altar (center of circle),

 - Group meditation,

 - Red thread ceremony (or other ceremony that resonates with mother to be),

 - Food train organisation, and

 - Herbal bath ceremony.
